2011 Buddy Walk - What a great success!
The 2011 DSANI Buddy Walk was our most successful walk to date. Over $75,000 was raised and over 1100 people joined us in a fun filled celebration. None of this would have been possible without the hard work of our Buddy Walk Committee volunteers, our Corporate Sponsors listed below, the Indiana Tech wrestling team, New Haven Middle School cheerleaders, and many more wonderful people in our community.
The Buddy Walk is a walk in which anyone can participate without special training. It is an inspirational and educational event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, come and join a Buddy Walk in your local community!
I hope to see everyone again next year.
