Buddy Walk 2008 The 2008 10th Annual Buddy Walk took place on Saturday, October 4th, and was a huge success! THANK YOU to everyone who participated for an amazing Buddy Walk this year! Early figures show our current total gross cash income for the Buddy Walk is estimated at $60,000. An estimated gross cash income of $60,000, combined with an estimate of $10,000 for in-kind contributions (such as radio promotion on K105, Linda Jackson’s interview on WISE-TV / NBC33, hot dogs and buns, water, Edy’s fruit bars, and many additional food items), suggests our total for this year’s Walk is at $70,000! Of course, corporate sponsor dollars, donations and matching gifts are still coming in and we are just beginning to pay some bills related to the walk, so all of these figures are estimates and it may be some time before we know our net income for the walk. Congratulations to Amy's Village for raising the most money as a team!
