National Down Syndrome Society
The mission of the National Down Syndrome Society is to be the national advocate for the value, acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.

Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome
Started in the summer of 2002, this organization was founded by a group of fathers with the common link of a child with Down syndrome. Their mission is to assist and support the fathers and families of people with Down syndrome.
Formed as a statewide organization in 1956, The Arc provides support and assistance for individuals with mental retardation and other related disabilities and their families.
Founded in 1960, Anthony Wayne Services serves the various needs of disabled persons in their local area in all aspects of life.
This group began in much the same way as DSANI. One mother with the goal of providing a better life for her child and others facing the same issues.
